Because of this, selling hazmat products on TikTok Shop requires strict compliance with labeling, product specs, documentation, and shipping regulations.

Examples of hazmat products on TikTok Shop

TikTok offers a non-exhaustive list of dangerous (Hazmat) goods. These products can be in several categories, and have in common that they may contain chemicals or batteries.

Meanwhile, dangerous goods that cannot be sold on TikTok Shop are listed on the TikTok Shop Prohibited Products Policy page under the Hazardous and Dangerous Items section.

How can I check if a product is a dangerous good?

The US Department of Transportation categorizes hazardous materials into nine distinct classes. If your product belongs to any of these categories, it is officially classified as hazmat:

5. Oxidizers and Organic Peroxides
